“As Long As the Rivers Run” Update

Salmon Defense is excited about progress on the “As Long as the Rivers Run (ALATRR)” project. More than 16 hours of timeless interviews were gathered from a dozen fishermen, fishermen’s wives, and children from different parts of the Boldt case area in developing a companion video to the original ALATRR documentary title “Back to the River”. The interviews from, as Billy would say, “The Expert Witnesses” will be an in-depth illumination of the magnificent history of the fishing rights struggle.
While all of the interview footage can’t fit into the one-hour timeframe for the companion video, don’t be alarmed. The full interviews and other materials will be available via a website that is being created for the project.
If you’re not following Salmon Defense on Facebook, you should, and check out the trailer for “Back to the River” on the ALATRR project page. A great “roll out” celebration is also planned to coincide with the release of part II. So stay tuned!
