Thank You, Pacific Salmon Summit Sponsors

Join us as we honor the life and legacy of Billy Frank Jr. by bringing together a dynamic group of people who have continued the teachings of our fearless leader.

The Billy Frank Jr. Pacific Salmon Summit will inspire, enlighten and ignite others to carry the torch to advance and strengthen policies to protect and defend salmon and salmon habitat.

This forum will be an opportunity for tribal leaders, members and fishery managers, non-tribal fishery managers, policy makers, scientists and the public to discuss successes, challenges and strategies for Protecting Salmon for Our Common Future. Together, participants in the inaugural Billy Frank Jr. Pacific Salmon Summit will identify and develop an advocacy strategy to strengthen salmon and salmon habitat policies.

Pacific salmon have long played an essential role in the cultures and lives of the Indigenous People of the Pacific Northwest. They are in a critical state and we must continue to enhance and strengthen existing efforts, systems and policies to ensure future generations can continue to practice their traditional ways of life.

The Billy Frank Jr. Pacific Salmon Summit will be the most diverse gathering of its kind, bringing together a broad range of people to share information and exchange ideas about how to continue to restore and protect salmon and salmon habitat. We anticipate the Billy Frank Jr. Pacific Salmon Summit will be an annual forum for people to get together, learn and create proactive strategies.

"As the salmon disappear so do our tribal cultures and treaty rights. We are at a crossroads and we are running out of time." – Billy Frank Jr
